White Peplum Top and Blush Shorts

Hi ladies!  I hope everyone is having a great week!  I am enjoying this warm weather, but we have had a lot of rainy days.  I also have so many things I need to catch up on here on the blog and around the house.  Are you all like me and feel as if you are consistently behind?!  Anyway today, I’m styling an easy breezy outfit – a white peplum top and blush shorts.

These are all items I’ve had in my closet for some time now.  In fact, I have a lot of older pieces that I plan to mix and match for some fun summer looks.  I will always try to link similar pieces from stores and brands with which I’m familiar.  If you need something new and want to recreate one of these looks, I really appreciate your support when you shop through my blog!  It helps keep this blog up and running.

Otherwise, I encourage you to make the most with what you have in your closet to create different outfits.  I am challenging myself to do just that with what I already have.

As for some details on getting this look, this Caslon Top is very similar to mine and comes in other colors.  This Peplum Tee is under $15 and this One is under $12.  I found these Blush Shorts at WHBM for only $32.99.  I love the quality of White House Black Market’s clothes.

This Necklace is very similar to mine.  It comes in rose gold, gold, and silver.  I love my lariat necklace.  I wear it all the time – it goes with everything!

Now for a little about what goes on behind the blog, I have a funny story.  I often will refer to my husband as my hubby here on the blog.  Recently, he told he did not like hubby.  LOL!  We’ve been joking around a lot lately about how I should refer to him on the blog.  Should I just use husband, his first name, Mr. Miller, or something else.  Ha!  Sometimes, I’ve seen other bloggers that have cute or fun nicknames when referring to their husbands.  Anyway, we are trying to come up with something unique.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!  Otherwise, he will just be known as my husband.
