I’m sharing some inspiration for what to wear Valentine’s Day this year. These “what to wear” posts always seem popular, and I will try to cover all the big holidays in 2022. I may also do a few other occasions too. If you have any other occasions or events coming up where you are stumped on what to wear, please let me know!
Jeffrey and I may go out to dinner for Valentine’s Day, but otherwise don’t have any big plans. We just celebrated our wedding anniversary too, and we always try to do a little more for it.
Plus, I really prefer to stay inside this time of year if possible, because it’s just so cold! How about you?
Whether you plan on staying in or getting out, I’ve got some great outfit suggestions today. They each give a nod to the holiday but could very well be worn any other day too.
Shop Outfit 1 – Red Blouse / Black Pants / Shoes / Handbag / Earrings
This first outfit could be worn to work and then out to dinner. I believe Valentine’s Day actually falls on a Monday this year. This gorgeous red blouse can be worn all winter to the office or church. I have and highly recommend these black pants.
Shop Outfit 2 – Sweater / Jeans / Boots / Handbag / Necklace
My second look is much more casual and features this light pink sweater on sale at EVEREVE. It comes in a light blue and oatmeal color too. Even though it’s on sale, it is fully stocked in every color!
Shop Outfit 3 – Love Sweater / Grey Jeans / Boots / Handbag / Rings
Okay, I had to include a heart shape on a piece of clothing somewhere in this post. This cute Loft sweater is 50% off, but I think the sale does end today. It’s made by Lou and Grey, so you know it will be soft and cozy.
The Blondo boots included in this look are also on sale for under $100.
Shop Outfit 4 – Floral Dress / Over the Knee Boots / Short Boots / Earrings
My last what to wear Valentine’s Day look is my favorite. This pretty floral shirt dress can be worn right into spring! I paired it here with the over the knee boots they suggested on the Ann Taylor website. Of course, knee high boots would work just fine too. And I would wear black tights under it, especially here where I live to stay warm. You could also wear it with shorter boots right now if you live in a warmer climate.
This dress comes in regular and petite sizes. In the spring, it would be so cute with flats, nude pumps, or sandals.
Dressed in Faith
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
