Happy Friday! I’m so glad you are visiting my blog today. Now that we are officially in the spring season, I want to talk about transitioning our shoes into spring.
As much as I would like for it to be right around 70 degrees each and every day, I know spring weather can swing wildly from cold to hot. When it is cold you want to be warm, including your toes. When it’s hot, you want to stay cool of course. So, I try to dress appropriately for the weather while also looking somewhat like I’m in the correct season! This includes my shoes.
These Boots were one of my favorite winter purchases that I’m still wearing into spring when it’s cold. As much as I would love to break out the sandals each day, there is no need to freeze!! On days when it’s just really cold, wear your booties but choose lighter colors or spring colors. Also, this is the time to wear your cut out/perforated booties like This One Or This One.
Despite the heavy suede look on my boots above, this olive green color works for the spring season and pairs well with the green in this Top. If you have a Blush Bootie, that’s a great option to wear on cold spring days too. Otherwise, I would wear a lighter colored neutral bootie.
This time of year is also the time to break out your sneakers. I still wear these Converse Sneakers, but White Sneakers have become all the rage this year.
Don’t love wearing sneakers or want something more dressy? I hear ya – the reason why I haven’t purchased a white pair yet is I don’t wear sneakers much! Then, spring time is great for wearing your favorite Flats or Loafers.
Finally, we can’t forget Sandals. I will wear mine with long and short sleeves once my toes can tolerate the temperatures. I love my blush espadrilles. They were such a pleasant surprise! I thought these would be so uncomfortable, but they are not. I wish they would bring these shoes back this year! In the meantime, these Sandals are a really cute option if your looking for blush.
That’s a wrap for today. Enjoy your weekend!
