Recently, I did a little spring shopping and have some try on sessions to share with you all this week. I mainly looked for spring clothes, but I also tried on a few pairs of spring shoes.
I wish I had taken more time to try on more shoes than I did. In fact, I may go back out at some point and just focus on shoe shopping. If you all know me well, you know that will just be such a difficult task — Not! All of the shoes I am featuring in this post are from Nordstrom.
Cole Haan Callista Perforated Slingback Sandal
I wish I had tried on this shoe!! I think it is gorgeous in the color above. While I tend to spend more on a good comfortable shoe, this one is a little pricey. If it falls within your budget, I would definitely go for it. I don’t have a lot of experience with Cole Hann Shoes, but my husband loves this brand for men’s styles! I also saw this pretty Sandal in the same brand.
Sofft Natesa Perforated Sandal
I did try on this Sofft sandal and really liked it. If heels are not for you, this cute sandal is a great option for spring!
Treasure & Bond Sannibel Platform Wedge Sandal
I had very high hopes for this Treasure & Bond wedge. I have seen several other bloggers say how much they love this shoe. When I picked it up, I was impressed with the soft leather straps. It comes in other colors, but I love the tan color above for wearing with most any outfit.
Unfortunately, I didn’t like how they felt on my foot – so disappointing! They were really tight, and I even tried the next size up. To be fair, I have had a lot of trouble with my feet swelling lately (I think it’s another side effect I’ve dealt with on this medicine for breast cancer prevention – ugh!).
The other thing I am unsure about is the heel height. They are very high! While I like a little bit of a heel, I also try to balance that with comfort and what summer activities I might be doing in a particular sandal. Even so, I want to go back and try these on again! I don’t give up easily. Ha!
Of course, that doesn’t mean these won’t work for you?! They do seem to work for some other bloggers!
On that subject, I want you all to know that I will give my honest opinion about the clothes I feature here. Since we are all made different though, I’m sure there will be times when I feature items I really like but may not suit every single person who reads my blog. There may be other times I don’t care for an item, but you love it. I hope the majority of the time, though, my blog will be a good resource for all of you when shopping online!
Now, let’s look at this last shoe.
Gentle Souls Signature Colleen Espadrille Wedge
I wish I had tried these on during my last shopping trip. I did try these sandals on last year and loved them! In fact, these are at the top of my list to try again, because I would like to get another pair of espadrilles! There were two or three women in the shoe department at the same time I was trying on these shoes! Most I asked said they really liked these sandals. I also love the heel height on these compared to the Treasure & Bond pair – not too high!
That’s it for today! If I go back to try on and retry some of these styles again, I will be sure to update you in a later post. Have a great day!
