Dressing during the spring in Indiana is always a challenge. It can still get pretty cold! Yet, you know I want to be able to wear all the pretty spring clothes! Most of the time, I can remedy this situation by throwing on a sweater over my spring ensemble. Yet then there’s the whole what shoes to wear situation!
Recently, I came across these Naturalizer Banks slingback pumps that I thought would make a great spring transition shoe. These slingbacks come in all sorts of styles and colors. Mine are the snake pastel leather.

I first noticed these slingbacks had a lot of teal green color in them when I bought them. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the pastel patterned part of the shoe seems to change colors with its surroundings. As you can see above they are reflecting some of the blue in my jeans.
This shoe is a nice low heel dress shoe option with an adjustable strap. I think they are very versatile and can be worn casually, with workwear, to church, or out to dinner. They are comfortable, but I would probably not wear them for lots of hours of continuous standing and walking (I do have finicky feet!).
You may notice that I’m wearing the same white puff sleeve top from yesterday’s post.
Also, I’ve had this soft oversized cardigan for a few seasons. It is the perfect weight for spring weather to keep away the chill. You can still get it in a heather frost color which I think is a perfect neutral spring cardigan color!
