Spring Handbag Trends 2025

The spring handbag trends for 2025 are proving to be very interesting and unique. Spring is always a fun time to shop for a new handbag anyway. Designs are usually as light and fresh as the season. Plus, it’s fun to add a little color to your outfit with a pretty pastel bag. Of course, I’ve got plenty of neutral options included under each trend category below. If you click through the links, you’ll find lots of the handbag listed in several color choices.

Big bags and smaller bags are trending alike. One spring trend in handbags I didn’t include below is doctor style handbags. These handbags are just like the name suggests – they look like a doctor’s bag. Cresent shaped handbags that have been around for several seasons are still popular. I’ve also seen a lot of quilted handbags while shopping too.

Spring Handbag Trends 2025

Belted Handbags

The belted handbag often has a clasp that looks like a belt strap and buckle. However, a belt strap with a buckle is sometimes purely a design feature on these handbags that doesn’t function to close or open the bag.

Bucket Handbags

Bucket bags are making a comeback. I love the room that many bucket bags provide for holding all the essentials without being overwhelming on petite ladies.

East – West Handbags

Another spring handbag trend for 2025 are east west bags, and they are just as the name suggests. They are a dramatically horizontal silhouette having a longer width and much shorter height. These are nice if you prefer to carry a smaller handbag. This gorgeous spring handbag that is featured above as a belted handbag is also an east west handbag style.

Snakeskin Handbags

One trend I didn’t include in my Spring Shoe Trends 2025 post is the return of snakeskin prints in bags and accessories. I don’t yet see a lot of snakeskin styles in spring shoes. I did find this trend in a few handbags though.

Woven Handbags

Woven handbags were not specifically on many spring trends lists, but I could not do a spring handbag post without including them! A pretty woven bag in any material is a spring closet essential. The appearance of these light and airy bags signals the start of each spring/summer season.

I especially love this budget friendly woven handbag. It has a drawstring inner lining to keep your stuff from spilling out. It also comes in several great neutrals as well as some fun colors.
