While it may still be chilly outside, women’s spring fashion trends 2025 are already popping up on many retailers’ sites. I must say that it gives me something fun to think about as spring weather usually takes it’s time to get here!
This season is looking very different when it comes to what’s trending in fashion. Most seasons, I have very specific details to share in these posts. However, this spring, the attention is on large categories of style which I really like. So, there should be something out there appealing to most everyone!
Spring Fashion Trends 2025
Petal Pink
There are only two very specific trends making my spring fashion trends 2025 list. The first one is the return of the color pink, specifically very soft muted pinks. Don’t worry if you are into more vibrant or bolder pink colors, because I’m seeing plenty of those too. And pink never really went away (at least not in my closet). It just took more of a backseat to some other pastels in recent years.
Since petal or powder pink is the “it” color for spring, I noticed my Gibsonlook Top Notch Blazer in smoke pink has been restocked! While they’ve carried another shade of pink in that blazer, I have not seen the smoke pink in years. I’m not typically a blazer girl, but I do love the knit ones by Gibsonlook. Their blazers have some stretch and are very comfortable. They are a great completer piece for casual, work, or dressy attire.
While pink is trending, I’m also seeing a lot of lilac colors at major retailers too. Maybe, these very feminine colors have something to do with the next fashion trend for spring.
Feminine Styles
Florals, eyelet, ruffles, billowy sleeves and fabrics are just a few details that come to mind with the feminine style aesthetic. Fashion experts say this is a big trend for spring, and I’m certainly here for it! If you’ve read my About Page FAQ’S, then you know my personal style leans some towards this style category.
As I stated above, it’s hard to name any standout specifics this year. Just know that ultra feminine clothing is fashion forward this spring. With all the florals and fresh pastels that make an appearance every spring, this style aesthetic naturally goes with the season. It makes sense that spring and summer are my seasons since I love these styles.
Preppy Styles
Preppy styles reminiscent of the 80’s are also fashion forward this spring. What I’m seeing most though is modern classic styles. These have actually been trending for a while now – think the classic shorter and fitted cardigans, also lady jackets. If you know me, I’m not sad about this one either! I like to combine modern classics with some feminine details.
Boho Styles
There is certainly a little something for everyone here this spring! Boho styles are also making some spring fashion trends 2025 lists. I don’t usually style them here or wear this style personally. If it’s your favorite, let me know. I’m seeing some cute boho tops with heavy floral designs in stores. I may try modeling some here on the blog.
Nautical / Coastal Looks
When I think of coastal outfits, I think of lots of navy blue, white, stripes, and maybe some red. Also, I think of natural or woven textures in bags and accessories. This style lends itself to spring and summer with trips to the ocean and lake.
Jean Trends – Slim Straight Styles
The other very specific fashion trend is a return to slimmer leg jeans. Wide leg jeans and pants are still the most fashion forward silhouettes of the moment. On the horizon, the tides may turn.
While our favorite jean styles might not be the most popular of the moment, I hope we are at a point where we can wear the jean styles we want. And I think women can wear the jeans that make them feel most confident without sacrificing looking dated or out of style.
Perhaps, we are even seeing this concept of wearing whatever jeans silhouettes we like in any given season spilling over into other clothing. It’s nice to see huge and diverse categories of fashion at the forefront this spring. Style should be fun, individual, and unique to each one of us.
Dressed in Faith
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
