Can you all believe that Easter is just a little over three weeks away?! I can remember as a little girl going shopping every year for a new dress to wear on Easter Sunday. I hated having to shop and try on new dresses. Wow, things have really changed! LOL

All of these dresses come from Nordstrom. Besides that these are some cute spring dresses, I was talking to a friend recently who didn’t know about some of the benefits of shopping online at Nordstrom. She gave me the idea to do this post. I didn’t really know about some of the benefits either until I started fashion blogging. I would see so many other bloggers shop there and always wondered why shop with them anymore than some of the other popular retailers. I learned there are several reasons.
First, they offer free standard shipping and returns in the U.S. on almost all items. In my opinion, this is best benefit if you are shopping online. They also have a very generous return policy.
They also have a rewards program where you get $20 coupons for earning so many points based on how much you’ve purchased. The amount you have to spend in a year is pretty high depending on your budget. Of course, many successful fashion bloggers buy a lot of clothes to style on their blogs. So, these reward points come in handy. If you open an account with a Nordstrom card, you can earn a $40 coupon by making purchases the same day you are approved. You also earn more reward points on purchases plus some other perks like early access to one of their biggest sales.
Last, I have not had a bad experience shopping in store with them. Their customer service has always been very good. Since I have to travel a ways to the nearest store, I plan to do more shopping with them online.
While they do sell some very expensive high-end clothing, I like to shop their sale items which are marked down to pretty reasonable prices. Also, I learned from my friend that she likes to shop at Nordstrom Rack. They offer lower prices on a lot of higher end items. You can use your Nordstrom card there too and earn points. The downside for shopping online there is you have to buy a certain amount to get free shipping and the return policy is not as generous.
Where are your favorite places to shop? Is there one you would like me to include more here on the blog? Let me know in a comment or send me an email.
