Today, I’m talking Soma sleepwear, particularly their cool nights pajama sets. I have been wanting to try these forever and am so glad I did! You would think someone with crazy bad hot flashes like me would have done so before now. Yet when it comes to this area of my wardrobe, I hate to say that it’s been pretty non-existent over the years.
In fact, I have been wearing more non-traditional clothing at night like comfy tees and shorts or sweatpants occasionally when it’s really cold.
It always seems like no matter what I would wear though (whether something thin or heavy) that I still would wake up often in a puddle of sweat.
The thing that is so impressive for me about this sleepwear is that it really does a great job of keeping me dry and sweat free during the night. Plus, it’s so much prettier to wear!
Soma Pajama Set | Barefoot Dreams Sweater
These pajamas do feel really cool to the skin which I really like. If I ever do get chilly, I will just cozy up to the fire or slip on my Barefoot Dreams cardigan.
I also grabbed a couple of Soma’s sleepshirts too. I can wear these now and when the weather is warmer.

Right now, Soma has a great sale on their sleepwear. If you’ve been wondering if they would work for you, this is a good time to check them out. I also like their bras and panties too. You can read about them in this post.
Besides having great sleepwear, do y’all have any good tips for battling night sweats?
Do these run true to size? What about the cardigan? I have heard good things about this sleepwear from other bloggers as well. Guess it is time to get new sleepwear. Mine needs replaced, too.
I think the Soma sleepwear does run pretty true to size. I am wearing a medium. As for the Barefoot Dreams cardigan, I wear it in the small/ medium. I hope that helps!
I just love Soma! Especially their cool nights line. I have an obsession with pajamas anyway! As for tips on staying cool, I sleep with a fan on my side of the bed. I use it mostly for the background noise, but if I wake up sweating, I will direct it towards me.
Thanks for the tip! I already use a fan in the bathroom, because I often get hot flashes while getting ready for the day. I guess I need to get another one for my bedside table!
