Happy Friday! Today, I decided to do a save or splurge post since I’ve been seeing so many items lately that are great dupes for more expensive things. I certainly think you can look very stylish affordably!
Here are a few things I consider when trying to shop for the best price possible.
Cheaper is not always good quality, but you can usually find good look alike products at more reasonable prices for many expensive items!
If it is a very trendy style, you may want to purchase a much cheaper item if you know you won’t wear it once that style becomes unpopular. You might need to be prepared for that item not to hold up to a lot of wear and tear though!
If you really like a style or it is more classic, buy the best you can afford for longer durability. Certainly don’t overextend your budget trying to get the most expensive brand thinking it will be the best though!
There are so many great quality items that are moderately priced or plain inexpensive and hold up just as well or better. In fact, I’ve purchased many things over the years that on sight I liked much better than their more expensive counterparts. How about you?

I actually have another pair of look alike scalloped shorts for the Lilly Pulitzer shorts. You can see them in a post from last year. I love these shorts!
The ones shown above from Belk have a small pattern but are still a close match and really cute too!
