One of the big style trends for spring and summer is ruffle neck shells and tops. Many come with high necklines. While they look so adorable, a high neckline is not the most flattering look for me. So, I love it when I find a pretty ruffle neck shell or top with a split neckline.
This light and flowy ruffle neck shell in this fun polka dot pattern is one such find. It is a versatile piece that I can wear so many ways this spring and summer.
Before I give you the lowdown on this shell, I noticed regular sizes in this top are getting depleted. However, it is fully stocked in petite sizes!

The polka dots on this ruffle neck shell can look either black or navy blue depending on the light. I really like that about it! It pairs equally well with black and navy blue. I also think it would look great with a pink sweater for spring!
This shell’s material is a bit sheer, but I’m not wearing a tank underneath. The pattern on this top makes it much less noticeable, and it will be nice to wear when it gets much warmer.
I styled it above with more modern white straight legged denim jeans. These jeans have some stretch and are super comfortable. They also are the perfect cropped length on me. I ordered them in a petite, but they also come in regular and tall sizes.
Of course, skinny jeans are still very much in style. I took a few pictures of this ruffle neck shell with my skinnies too.
I’ve had these super comfortable sandals for several years. These black flats are very similar. I’m also wearing my Kendra Scott heart necklace.
I love wearing a classic black and white outfit year round. How about you?
