Hello friends! Today, I’m wearing a gorgeous rain washed blue sweater for spring from Loft. Our springs here in Indiana can be a real mixed bag of warm and cold days. This pretty knit sweater will be perfect for those days that feel less than springlike!
There’s just something about light blue and white that I gravitate towards every spring too. This color combination is just classic and so refreshing after wearing dark colors all winter.
The see through crochet detail on this rain washed blue sweater is so pretty and very modest. I’m wearing a nude bra, and my bra straps don’t show whatsoever.
I don’t usually go for a collared sweater, but this one is very comfortable to wear and gives a nice finishing touch to the split neckline. I’ve gotten where I like to do a little front tuck with my sweaters. However, as you can see below, this sweater looks great left out as well.
I’m wearing this rain washed blue color in a regular size as it’s not available in petite, and I think the length on me in the regular size is just fine. It does come in a whisper white color in petite sizing that would look great with jeans or a blue skirt.
If you need a good pair of white jeans for spring and summer, these jeans from J. Crew Factory can’t be beat! I always look there first for affordable and good quality white jeans. These jeans fit great with just the right amount of stretch. Of course, they come in petite lengths as well as regular and tall.
Finally, I want to mention my tan leather sandals. They are on close out for just under $40 and well stocked. For a heel, these sandals are really comfortable, and I can walk in them easily.
If it looks like it will be very cold on Easter this year, I will probably wear this sweater in a similar way. I might just switch out the sandals to something warmer depending on the temperatures.
