This pretty in pink pointelle sweater makes a great addition to any spring closet! As we all know, spring weather can be so fickle. Ours sure has been up and down in Indiana. So, I’m always looking for pretty spring sweaters for colder spring days.
This pink pointelle sweater fits the bill for when you want to dress for spring but need something to keep warm. In petite sizes, the cotton sweater also comes in white. In regular sizes, it also comes in white and grey. I’m wearing a regular medium.

Pointelle is a knit fabric that has decorative openwork patterns. I had to look up the definition – ha! The pattern on this sweater kind of resembles the sun’s rays to me. I’m noticing more open patterns and loose knitting on many spring sweaters this year.
While the pattern is open, I feel like it’s still modest and doesn’t show anything underneath. This sweater is a bit bulkier but doesn’t feel too thick or hot. The pointelle trim definitely helps keep it cooler for milder days too – just a great in between seasons sweater.

I styled this pretty sweater with jeans and these comfortable brown boots. They have a cushioned footbed and lower heel. And let’s face it, many of us still have to wear our boots into March and sometimes April. It can be too cold for any other types of shoes.
I’ve got more sweaters for spring linked below.
