Nothing says summer more than the pink and white stripes on this top I’m sharing today! I took a gamble in ordering this pretty top. I tend to think the square neckline trend in tops right now is not as flattering for me personally. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised by this one! And my husband commented that this top looks cute on me, so it’s a win, win! You just never know what’s truly going to work without actually trying an item on.
I was immediately drawn to this top not only for the pink color but also that the stripes are vertical. I think vertical stripes are very flattering on anyone, and you don’t often find them on clothing.
This cute top has a flowy fit and great sleeves too. If you want something with sleeves for summer, this is about a perfect option. The sleeves provide great coverage for your upper arms and are flowy to keep you cool. I also don’t think they are too big or puffy either.
This top itself has a flowy fit which seems to be the trend nowadays too which I don’t mind for summer. It is also shorter in length which is great for my petite ladies out there. I like it best tucked into shorts or pants.
I paired this versatile top with my go to white denim shorts which are still fully stocked (I remember them selling out last year!). These 5 inch rolled shorts are a great option if you need a new pair. I have these same shorts in a light blue/green color too.
