Today and tomorrow, I am sharing the very best purchases I’ve made this past year. I will start today by sharing my top beauty products of 2018. These are beauty products that I use regularly and work, well, beautifully! The great thing is most of these products are drugstore purchases, so that means they are budget friendly!
Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream – I’m a little late to the ball game on this one but better late than never! I have been using this anti-aging cream everyday. Compared to much pricier creams, this one is a bargain and works just as well. I tried the Kate Somerville anti-aging cream which worked well too, but the price is steep by comparison.
Revlon ColorStay Creme Eyeshadow – This product is probably my number one beauty pick out of everything I’ve tried out this year. I love the staying power of this eyeshadow. I wear it alone often, but will layer it under Revlon’s ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow which is also great on its own.
Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara – I have not featured this mascara on the blog, but it also a top pick for the year. I had used Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for years, but decided to check out some other brands this year. I have been very impressed with this Revlon mascara. In fact, Revlon has become the brand I look to first when trying new things. Once I started using this product, I stopped looking at other mascaras.
Neutrogena Moisture Color Stick – I am so picky when it comes to lip colors/lipsticks. I want something light weight feeling but rich in color. I love the feel of this color stick – nice and creamy (especially good for the dry winter months). I also love the color . It is the only color I wear right now. I will warn you that this is not a long wearing lip color. I tend to stay away from those, because I have not found one that is not too drying.
Clinique Even Better Glow Light Reflecting Makeup – I have also used Clinique foundations for years. This light reflecting makeup was new purchase this year, and I have been very happy with it. I felt my skin was looking a little dull and this does give you a dewy youthful finish.
The Beauty Blender – Okay, I was a little late to try this makeup sponge too. I really like it but the only negative is the price is hefty for a makeup sponge. I am testing out the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to see how it compares to the Beauty Blender. You can get two of these sponges for the price of one Beauty Blender. So, I hope it works as well. Stay tuned for a post in January on these two products.
