Happy Thursday! Today, I am discussing makeup organization. Mine is pretty simple, but storage solutions should be! Before we moved to Indiana, I had a bathroom with a dressing table with drawers and a chair where I sat down to put on my makeup.
When we moved to our current home, I didn’t have that space. We have a counter with double sinks and storage underneath. So, I decided to just get a stacked drawer storage bin (this one is similar) for my makeup.

I love this solution for storing my makeup, because the drawer easily slides all the way out. I just pull out the whole drawer with my most used makeup products and sit it on the counter to get ready.

I already have some things sitting out permanently on my bathroom counter, but I mostly like a clean or clutter free look. This keeps my makeup organized and out of sight when not getting ready.

You can find these small stacked drawer units at Walmart and Target. I’m sure you have seen them! They aren’t the most glamorous, but they are an easy and inexpensive makeup organizer.
I have thought about getting a bigger one like this drawer unit since I’m often testing products for the blog. I need extra storage sometimes to hold those products.
Also if you like to keep your makeup out on the counter or have a dressing table, here are some nice ones for displaying your makeup.
I also use a this similar wall mirror with a light here and another option here for putting on my makeup. I can see what I’m doing better up close, and it has a magnification side too.
I love the idea of the small three drawer storage bin for make-up! I use those for office and scrapbooking supplies and also hardware such as screws and nails but had not thought about make- up. I currently use small baskets but the stackable storage bins would work better as the baskets sometimes get knocked over and I can’t stack them. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought about it before…I think I will switch out my makeup baskets with my office storage bins today! Since I am not currently working outside of the home due to COVID 19 I’ve been cleaning out and organizing a little everyday. I hope y’all are doing well during this time. Thank you!
We are doing well! I am so glad this post was helpful!
Thanks for the info on those different storage containers.
Have a Blessed day and you and your family stay safe and well.
Thank you! I hope you are safe and well too!
