Hi ladies! Welcome to another day here at Dressed in Faith. Today, I’m sharing lots of pretty handbags for spring. I’m also talking about the biggest style trend in handbags lately too.
If you read my Wearable Spring Fashion Trends 2023 post, you know I said big handbags are becoming trendy again. However, I don’t follow trends so much when it comes to handbags. Everyone is different, and their needs are different in what they carry with them. So, our handbags have to be practical in the size we choose.
However, no matter the size of bag you might carry, we still want it to look cute! I’m I right?! And spring always brings the prettiest handbags whether it’s a lighter color like a white leather handbag, a seasonal color like this blue handbag, or a different texture like a woven or straw handbag.

Biggest Trend – The Belt Bag
If you haven’t noticed, one of the biggest trends in bags is the belt bag. Back in the day, they were called fanny packs. While fanny packs were practical, they weren’t considered very cute. Well, things have certainly changed as they are all the rage, especially with young mothers.
And now these belt bags are being worn like a crossbody bag as in the picture below.
While I said I don’t usually follow trends for handbags, this trend is one I actually love and would work well for me on so many occasions. I don’t love carrying around a handbag, especially when doing an activity that warrants being hands free. These belt bags are handy for that, and the mini sizes look unobtrusive.
Also, I think these are great for trips and sightseeing. So many times, I want to carry my phone but not my handbag. So, I’m always asking my husband to carry my phone for me in one of his pockets. Anybody else do that?
These belt bags come in sporty styles, dressier styles, and all kinds of sizes too. I like this belt bag, and here is a belt bag that is dressy. I also like the color of this belt bag for spring and summer.
