Hello and happy weekend! Well, aren’t most weekends a joyful and welcomed reprieve from a busy week?!
I have another save verses splurge post for you all today. I like to challenge myself to find items that are as close as possible in design but at very different price points. While you always need to consider the quality of a budget friendly item (if it doesn’t hold up – that’s no good), these posts typically just go to show you that looking your best never has to be expensive!

It’s funny how I find that I like the lower priced item many times much better than the expensive one. That is a good, because I certainly wouldn’t pay some of these prices for the higher end items!
Also, I’ve been shopping some this week. Of course, I was looking for shoes – you all know how I love them! Ha! I wanted to share with you some of my shoe finds and thoughts.
I see these Sandals all the time now. They seem to get good reviews. So, I tried them on, and I thought they are pretty comfortable for a flat slide – they have some support. The white would be great for summer too.
Next, I tried on this Caslon Wedge. I liked it too. I personally liked it much better than this Wedge that I see on a lot of other bloggers. The heel on the Caslon is a little lower.
Last, I bought these Taos Black Printed Sandals. I haven’t worn them out yet, but I think I am going to love them. I am all about comfort when it comes to shoes and am willing to splurge a little more for it! These are so comfortable and a little bit dressy. I was looking for a nice flat black sandal to wear with dresses, pants, or shorts.
I originally tried this Naot Shoe in black, and it is so cute too! It’s just a little too narrow on my foot – I’m so disappointed!! If you have a narrow foot, that is a great comfortable brand. If you have a wider foot, I would go with Taos. If you have a nice vacation planned and will be walking a lot, Taos Shoes or Naot Shoes would be the way to go!
