Today, I am featuring some great products I use daily for my skin. You can find these at your local drugstore, and they don’t cost a fortune!
CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser / CeraVe Facial Lotion / CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
As you all know from reading previous posts, I have very sensitive skin that is oily. I also have to treat my skin for rosacea. It is very hard finding products that are soothing to my sensitive skin and also combat the oiliness. As I am getting older, I also find many of the products that fight signs of aging and wrinkles don’t work for me. The ingredients in them are too harsh and make my rosacea worse. After trying tons of skincare products over the years, I have finally found a regiment that I really love. I use CeraVe products. They help give me moisture where I need it to fight wrinkles but also don’t cause my skin to break out. Whether you have sensitive skin or not, these products work great at a very reasonable price! I have tried more expensive ones in the past and have not seen great results.
I use the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for normal to oily skin in the morning and evening. It cleans off makeup very well. I also like it, because it gets my skin clean without drying it out. They also make this Facial Cleanser for dry skin. Another good tip I have for you is to use this cleanser as a shave gel. It works great at keeping you from getting those red shave bumps. A little of this cleanser goes a long way and is a bargain for $16!
I also like the CeraVe PM Facial Lotion. This One can be used in the morning and contains sunscreen though I have not tried it.
If you want something really moisturizing for all your dry areas, I recommend the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. I use it as an all over body lotion, but I have gotten the way I like to use it on my neck, cheeks, and around my eyes too. It is a very rich cream and is not too greasy.
Have you found any skincare products lately that you would highly recommend? Leave a comment telling me about them.
I hope you all are having a good week. I am so glad summer is here! I know it is not officially summer yet, but I consider it to be so since my youngest son is out of school. Even though everything is a lot more relaxed right now, he is keeping things super busy. He just started drivers’ education. He is my last one at home, and I will be glad when he has mastered this skill! Keep us in your prayers as we teach him to drive!
This post is so timely. I have oily mature skin and had been using Rodan and Fields until I ran out. I need to find an inexpensive replacement and this sounds perfect. Thanks for sharing!
I am so glad this was helpful!
