Today, I’m sharing all the gorgeous colors that we will be seeing this year in this fashion color trends report. Some from last year are still going to be popular in 2023. By the way, are you getting used to typing in 2023 yet? I’m still getting used to it!
For this fashion color trends report, I’m focusing on mainly spring colors. And I’m planning on sharing more spring fashions from here on out too. At this point in the year, I’m getting weary with winter weather. However, we’ve been lucky this winter where I live. I think we’ve had a milder one than some in the past.
While there are a lot of pretty pastels trending for 2023, I’m sure some of these colors will carry into the fall too. Afterall, these are colors we’ll supposedly see throughout the year or at least some variation of them.
Viva Magenta
If you haven’t heard, Pantone’s color of the year is viva magenta. I see it as a lighter berry color or a pink-berry. As usual, it’s hard to find a lot of this exact color in clothing for now. Ha! But if you like a cheery berry color, here are some pretty options in clothing for spring below.
Lavender
I love lavender and purple in general. This color became popular in 2022, and I see some saying it’s back for 2023. If you love lavender, check out this gorgeous trench coat for spring.
Olive Green
Olive green is another trending color we’ll see this spring. I bet it will be back in the fall too.
Orange/Tangerine
Here’s another color I’m sure we’ll see in more pastel shades this spring and in darker shades this fall. Orange was also a color that was hot in 2022.
Pastel Blues
This has to be the most popular color I’m seeing when shopping online – lots of blue!
Pale Pink
I think of pale pink or blush as a great neutral now. It goes with so many other colors. And I have to mention this top. It’s on sale under $20 and fully stocked if you’re doing any early spring shopping.
Yellow
This has to be the second most popular color I’m seeing as I shop for spring clothes. It was also on last year’s list too.
Fiery Red
For whatever reason, I don’t think of fiery red as a spring and summer color unless it’s around the 4th of July. So, I didn’t round up any items for this one (plus, I didn’t want my post to become too long). However, it certainly doesn’t mean you can’t wear it in the spring or summer! And this color came up more than once as I was researching this post.
Buttercream
The trending neutral this year is cream or off white mixed with beige tones. Maybe, this is just a new way of saying khaki or taupe. Haha! But, I came up with buttercream after seeing a fabric swatch with that name that had similar tones. I think it’s truly meant to be very light shade, but as you can see in the widget below, there are all kinds of interpretations of this color.
Silver
Finally, metallics were mentioned. The top one being silver. And the easiest way to style that color will be with your jewelry.
Thanks for tuning in today, and let me know what you think of the color trends for 2023. Were any of your favorites mentioned?
Dressed in Faith
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Psalm 139:2
I love the colors for 2023. These shades of color can help brighten your day if it is rainy or a day your not feeling your best.
Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend. Ce Ce
I love the colors too! They are very bright and vibrant.
