Happy Wednesday! Wow, one week from now we will be celebrating Christmas! I truly love this holiday – it’s one of my favorites! I sometimes find myself so busy with everything that I have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy it! How about you?
Today, I have a burnout velvet top to share from Kohl’s. As I was writing this post, I learned this top has sold out though – ’tis the season! I will still put the link in for the top just in case. I have had this top for a while and knew I should have shared it sooner – lesson learned! I did find this pretty top that gets great reviews and comes in a ton of colors. So, you could easily create a similar look with it!

Now, let’s talk about this outfit.
This burnout velvet top is so pretty and feels good. I can easily dress it up or down. Here is another pretty velvet tee that’s under $30.
I have been wearing American Eagle jeans a lot this season. I think they are good jeans for a reasonable price!
Also, one thing that is still fully stocked are my Blondo boots. These suede boots are waterproof, so I will be wearing them all winter.

As you can tell from my photos, this top has a very pretty sheen to it. The light really accentuates it on top of the…ummm…girls in my photos! Haha! If this top gets restocked, I will let you know. Otherwise, here is another gorgeous black velvet shirt.
In other news, we’ve had some snow this week. My son had a two hour school delay on Monday and was out of school on Tuesday. Thankfully, the rest of the week looks clear of snow. I still have one gift to pick up and get wrapped. How is your shopping coming along?
