If you have been following along here on the blog, you may remember I have been searching for a drugstore brow makeup I really love. I’ve recommended a few before that I’ve liked and have gotten the job done. Yet, I have still kept an eye out to see if there was something even better.
I have dark auburn hair. That is my original hair color as a kid, and my out of the bottle color now. Ha! It seems hard to find a brow color that works with my hair – not that I have to match exactly! Yet, I wanted to find an auburn color, if I could, for my brows that worked.
At last, I may have finally found the perfect brow shade for me in a product I really love!
As far as drugstore brands go, this Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow Pomade is wonderful. It stays put all day, and the auburn shade is the right shade for me!
I have been going with a medium to dark brown brow color. The last auburn color I tried ended up being bright red!
I was pleased with this brow pomade the first time I put it on. It was not until I saw it in my pictures that I realized just how good of a color match that it is!

I also love the size of the angled brush that comes with the pomade. No need to find or buy a separate brush in a better size to apply the brow color!
I decided to go ahead and list many of the items I am wearing in the photo above. These are pretty much included in my normal makeup routine. I have posted about most or all of these items before. Once I find a product that works, I’ll use it forever!
I know some ladies switch out their makeup and the shades they wear with the seasons. I tend not to do that. Maybe, I’m kind of boring that way! I just find there are just certain shades/colors that look best on me, and I try to stay within that color/shade range. When I try to experiment with something very different, I feel like it’s not as flattering. There is something to be said for knowing your colors!
If you all enjoyed this post, I would love for you to share it on Facebook or Twitter if you are on them. Also, please pin any photos here you like to your Pinterest boards. I would love if you took time to do that on any post here you may read! This really helps others find my blog, and helps me to keep blogging!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!
I’ve heard great things about that brow pomade! Thanks for your article!
