Today, I’m sharing an affordable spring look. The day I wore these sandals for this photo shoot was unusually warm, and I could have walked outside comfortably in them! I’m afraid the weather in Indiana is playing tricks on us this year and when Easter rolls around it will be freezing. Of course, I’m hoping it won’t be!
I recently went shopping locally for spring blouses and tops. And I should have done my homework ahead of time. Several I brought home aren’t even on the retailer’s site to link. I was in a hurry and didn’t try anything on either, so one didn’t end up fitting anyway.
I got lucky with the cute mixed media top above tough – it fit and I found it on Amazon at an even better price making this spring look much more affordable!
This mixed media top (it comes in at just under $35) is made up of a sub knit material through the body along with pintuck details around the neckline and sleeves. The tiny buttons in front run deep but are very secure and don’t gap open on me (I’m wearing a medium in a regular size). So, I feel very comfortable wearing this shirt.
I paired this top with classic straight Levi’s jeans. They come in short and regular sizes – I’m wearing a short size. You can shop these Levi’s jeans (they run just under $50) at Kohl’s, Dillard’s, and Amazon too. They are a great closet staple.
To round out this affordable spring look, I pulled on my pearl studded sandals. While you cannot get my exact pair anymore, Amazon has an almost identical pair of studded pearl sandals (just under $40) that get great ratings. I wear these sandals often when the weather is warm!
While blue is not my most favorite color, there is something about light baby blue colors in spring clothing that I love. And I also love styling that color with white for spring and summer. This versatile top will look great with a pair of white pants, white jeans, or white skirt too.
