MEET Dianna
Hello friends!
My name is Dianna Miller. I’m the digital content creator and founder of Dressed in Faith. I’m also an empty nester enjoying the next stages of life after raising two sons. Here, I blog primarily about fashion along with inner beauty and faith. While my goal is to help women build a wardrobe they love, most importantly, I want to encourage women to know and build a greater relationship with Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’m a Southern girl who grew up in Tennessee. I also attended college there, met my husband, and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration. At that time, the internet and blogging didn’t even exist! I became a stay at home mom when we had our two sons and never looked back. Job changes for my husband eventually brought us to Indiana where we presently live.
In 2014, I discovered I had breast cancer. Thankfully, it was caught early and not very aggressive. While recovering from a mastectomy and reconstruction surgeries, I started reading fashion blogs. I’ve always loved clothes, shopping, and following the latest fashions. At about that same time, I also felt God was calling me to write about my faith. However, I wasn’t sure what that would look like or how to even start.
Ironically, I discovered there are a lot of women in blogging and digital content creation who speak openly about their faith. So, I decided to start this blog. Blogging gave me a platform where I could immediately start publishing devotionals as well as share fashion inspiration.
I am a Christian who grew up in church as a pastor’s daughter. Being part of a church family is important and understanding what the church you attend believes is important. I’ve been a member of several great churches across a couple of different denominations over the years.
The most important thing I can say in this short amount of space about my beliefs is that I believe in God and His truth found in His living word the Holy Bible. I believe in His One and only perfect Son Jesus Christ Who forgives me and died for me to save me. Trusting in salvation through Jesus Christ is the only way for us to be reconciled to God and have eternal life. And I know He loves and wants that for each one of us!
So, I have and currently attend a church that holds fast to these truths. If you are interested in knowing more about the Christian faith or joining a church, I would encourage you to start reading the Bible. There are many versions that are easy to read and study. The verses I quote at the end of my devotionals typically come from the New International Version.
Also, a great Bible reading plan to follow for beginners and beyond is The Bible Recap. It takes you chronologically through the Bible, and there’s a daily podcast that provides a brief summary to help you understand what you just read. This reading plan gives you a great overview and understanding of the Christian faith. Plus, you learn about Who God is, His character, and love for us. I currently read through the Bible with The Bible Recap on YouVersion’s Bible App.
If I had to define my personal style, I say it tends to be modern, classic, and feminine. While I watch fashion trends, blog about them, and adopt a few into my wardrobe, the older I get the more I go for classic clothing that I can wear for years. I also love clothing with pretty feminine details like understated ruffles and delicate florals.
I live a very casual lifestyle and find that I can apply these personal preferences to the most casual looks as well as the most formal outfits.
I’m petite (5’2″), so obviously I do focus on fashion for petite ladies. However, most everything I style usually comes in regular sizing and sometimes plus sizing too. And, I do purchase many of my tops and sweaters in regular sizes – medium or small depending on the fit. As for jeans and pants, I shop for short or petite sizes to get the best fit. I try to mention sizing and fit tips in most of my fashion posts.
