Today, I have a bonus post to share with you! I usually don’t post on Tuesdays but wanted to get this one out ahead of the post going out tomorrow. I’ve been looking for some new white jeans to wear and found some options at Kohl’s! I ended up going home with one of the three brands of white jeans I tried.
For starters, I didn’t plan on doing a white jeans review post or was looking primarily for white jeans when I went in there. I just quickly thought to snap a few photos while I was trying some other things on. I also knew I wanted a pair of classic skinnies at least ankle length. You will see I ended up trying a different jean style though – it was just whatever I could find at the time. I didn’t get pictures from behind either but encourage you to always check out that view when trying on any type of clothing.
So, let’s get started with this white jeans review at Kohl’s.
Lauren Conrad Frayed Skinny Ankle Jeans
This first pair is a really cute fray ankle white jean. I wanted to love these, but they run very small. I would have had to go up quite a few sizes for these to be comfortable in the waist – no stretch is found in these jeans!
Also when you get to Kohl’s website, it calls these Capri Jeans while other places describe them as ankle jeans (what’s up with that?!). So, I guess it depends on how tall you are as to where these will hit in length. I am a little over 5’2″ tall.
All that said, these have that popular fray hem that is everywhere this spring. They are also nice and thick – no see through. They come in this regular sizing and Petite Sizing, though I think some petite ladies would be fine ordering the regular sizing since they run so small and if you want an ankle length fit.
I thought maybe I had found the jeans for me with this pair from Vera Wang. These were also not see through, and I had some wiggle room – not near as tight as with the first pair. I can’t remember if these were supposed to be regular or ankle length. They are a little long on me. I haven’t let that stop me from buying jeans like this before though!
I did go up a size in these which may be part of the length issue. I’m trying to lose a few pounds I’ve gained recently to get a little healthier. When I go up a size, that really makes a difference in how some pants fit in length though!
I could not find this white pair online to link. You might want to check them out in your local Kohl’s store!
As I said, I thought this pair was really good. Then, I tried on these below!
Jennifer Lopez Skinny Ankle Skinny Jeans
My pictures don’t do these Stretchy Ankle Jeans justice. I love these jeans – the stretch and comfort are fantastic! While they are not quite as thick as the other two, I feel they are not see through at all. They also fit me like a regular length skinny jean. For reference, I think I did size up one, and I am a little over 5’2″ tall.
I brought these white jeans home with me and am wearing them in tomorrow’s post. So if you are needing some new white jeans and want a reasonable price, definitely check out Kohl’s.
Well, I have never even considered Kohl’s for jeans. Will have to make a trip to our local Kohl’s and see what they have for me. Thanks for the bonus post – I really enjoy what you share:-)
I didn’t think to check out their jeans either! I love the ones I got. They are so comfortable!
I have been buying jeans at Kohls for years. I have Sonoma, Apt. 9, LC, and Vera Wang. I love them and they last forever. I just ordered about 5 pair of capris from Kohls, I got 30% coupon this month using my Kohls charge and Kohls cash on top of that. It is a win win situation. I hope all your readers will giive Kohls a try. Their return policy is the absolute best. I have purchased items, worn them and washed them. Upon washing them I wasn’t happy on how they held up and I returned them and received full refund. You can’t beat that.
Wow! That’s great to know. I will be definitely be checking there again when I buy more denim. I also have never had a problem making a return, though I have always done so with items that still had tags and haven’t been washed.
