I usually buy inexpensive hair dryers. I’ve had a few that have lasted several years, but the last one I bought died rather quickly. I finally said that’s it! I’m done with cheap hair dryers and invested in a better brand. After all, I use this appliance about every. single. day.
I decided to try a Babyliss hair dryer. I’ve heard they make good curling irons, and the sales lady at Sally’s Beauty, where I bought mine, said they are a good brand.
Babyliss Pro Titanium Hair Dryer
Argon Oil | Similar Round Brush | Heat Tamer | Wide Tooth Comb
I have used this Hair Dryer about a month – so far, so good. It’s very powerful compared to hair dryers I’ve had in the past. So, I think it’s a tad faster at drying my hair. I seriously thought about buying this type of Hair Dryer but decided to go with a traditional one. I have heard good things about it. Have any of you used the hair dryer/round brush combination?
This Babyliss dryer has two heat settings and a cool setting. The lowest heat setting is a tad cooler than I’m used to, but maybe, that’s not all bad. Too much heat is certainly not good for your hair, so that’s a good setting to get some of the moisture out before turning up the heat if you are not in a hurry.
How long it will last remains to be seen. I have high hopes that it will last a long time! At this point, I’m really happy with this hair dryer and would recommend it as better brand for under $100.
While this new dryer does a pretty good job at smoothing out my hair without frizz, I find it’s important to use good hair products for that too. I thought I would share a few I put on my damp hair before I dry it.
First, I spray on this Heat Tamer which I shared with you in this Post.
If needed, I will then use this Argon Oil that I love. It really nourishes the ends of my hair where it is dryer. It only take a few drops. So, it lasts a long time, and I only put it on the ends. I already have to wash my hair daily from working out, night sweats, and some oil buildup on my scalp. So, I have to be careful with how much I apply and where!
I wish I had better skills when it comes to styling my hair, but I try to at least keep it healthy and protected.
I’ve been looking for a new hair dryer. I’m like you and have always bought ones. I will have to give this a try! Thank you for all you do. I love your DIF segment. Blessings to you!
