Merry Christmas everyone! I hope each of you are getting ready to spend the holiday with family and friends. Despite all the chaos and busyness this time of the year can bring to this mom, this will always be my favorite holiday. What’s not to love about good food, time spent with loved ones, festive parties, a reason to dress up, and gifts!
The gift I celebrate most of all is the birth of Christ. Without Him, I would not be who I am today – hopeful, forgiven, joyous, His daughter, dressed in faith in Him!

This past year has been bittersweet. I lost my mom unexpectedly which has left an empty place in my heart. Holidays are not easy after the loss of a loved one, and my heart goes out to any of you who may be suffering from the loss of a loved one this year.
Yet, the year has also been full of hope as I watch my children grow and thrive. I also have the love and support of a wonderful husband.
Plus, I do so appreciate all of you who read my blog every week! Those of you who purchase through my links help me keep publishing this blog to reach others with my devotionals. I want to thank each of you!
