Hello everyone! I decided to go ahead and post this Nordstrom edition of dressing room diaries. Nordstrom is running triple rewards points through March 25th. If you are a rewards member, you earn three times as many points on purchases. Here are a few things I found to try on from a recent shopping trip.
This Eyelet Contrast Tee was one of my cutest finds. The only problem is I found the hemline to lay across my back in an awkward way. It laces up at the top in the back and shows more of the light blue eyelet material that’s on the hem. I wish now I had taken more time to lace up the back which probably would have made a difference. In fact, I wish I could go back and try on this one again. I was not able to get a good picture of the back, but you can see more detail on Nordstrom’s Website.
This Tie Front Sweatshirt is really cute, but I would probably not pair it with jeans. I think it would look great with leggings or athleisure wear pants for a casual weekend look. I would add some Blush Sneakers to complete the outfit.
The previous picture is one of the few where I didn’t crop out my head. I don’t understand why they don’t make the lighting in dressing rooms better! I’m also learning how to take a dressing room selfies. Ha!
Here is another Sweatshirt I think would be great for a casual weekend look with some athleisure wear. You could also wear it with white jeans. The sleeves are cute, but I found them to be a little tight in my upper arms. For me, I think going up a size would make it too big everywhere else. So, you might want to consider that before purchasing this one.
This Tee with the tie sleeves is very cute. I have seen it styled by several other bloggers and decided to try it. It comes in several colors.
I decided to show you this Ruffled Eyelet Top even though it didn’t work for me. It was way too big. I may have needed a smaller size (sizes in the store were limited in some of these tops). Even so, I felt like this one and the next one looked kind of boxy on me. I am short with a very short waist. If you have a different body type, this one may work for you.
This One was big too. It’s a cute top – it just didn’t work for me. As you can see, statement sleeves are very trendy right now.
This last Top fits better. The embroidery is on trend, and this top would look good this spring with white jeans.
I didn’t pay a lot of attention to prices when trying on some of these items. If you are looking to buy a more expensive investment piece or need a lot of new spring clothes, this is a great to do it and get the extra rewards points.
You can also find much more on Nordstrom’s Website to meet different budgets. I have thought about ordering this Top that’s under $30 and can be styled a number of ways.
My Dressing Room Diaries Post yesterday was at White House Black Market if you didn’t catch it. I forgot to mention all the items I tried on in yesterday’s post also come in petite and plus sizes.
