I thought it might be fun to try a dressing room diaries post today. Last week after my doctor appointments, I went shopping at a near by mall. I tried on clothes at two different stores and decided to split the sessions into two posts. Today, I will share what I found at White House Black Market.
This first Top comes in several colors. I actually liked the black striped one on me the best. This top does cling and the lavender color showed every little bump and bulge more. For that reason, I would probably go with one of the darker colors. Plus, I picked the wrong time to do this try on session. I had just eaten a huge lunch at 2:00 after being in the doctor’s office all day. LOL For under thirty dollars though, it is a really cute top.
This cute Lace Trimmed Top also comes in olive-green and lavender (the color for spring this year is lavender).
Next, this little Jacket would be great for now and fall. I also liked this Cami. The cami top does have thin straps and is not adjustable. If you wear it without a jacket, you will need a strapless bra.
This Prairie Field Jacket was my favorite. Isn’t the rose detail cute?! It would go with so many things. You could wear it for years to come both spring and fall.
I wish I had gotten some better shots of these items without such a close up of my phone! If you’ve ever tried anything on at White House Black Market, you know their dressing rooms are small. I would have stepped out into their hallway to get better pics, but there was a lot of traffic out there.
If you liked this post, let me know. I have one more dressing room diaries at Nordstrom to post later. I didn’t find anything there I just loved or worked for me as well. I feel like I find a lot more online than at the Nordstrom store closest to where I live.
We have lots of snow on the ground right now. What a way to welcome to spring?! It makes it really hard to style spring clothing even though I sick of wearing winter clothes.
