Do you have any plans this 4th of July? If you are like me, this holiday may have not crossed your mind yet. However, it will be here before you know it! So today, I have you covered with outfits to wear whatever your festivities may be this year. And if you are lucky enough to be attending several events, these mix and match pieces are perfect for tweaking just enough to get you a totally different look for each occasion!
Since most July 4th events are held outdoors, I kept the looks here casual and comfortable. I also wanted to show pieces that could be worn all summer and not just themed specifically for July 4th.
While I stuck to my plan for this post. I have to admit I was tempted, though, to get some tees specific to the holiday. This 4th of July tee and this 4th themed tee would be so cute!
My first look is heavily focused on blue and white with a touch of sparkle from this bracelet. The top is a great versatile piece for summer and best worn with a strapless bra. And if you are looking for a great pair of white jean shorts, these are fantastic – another great pair of shorts for women over 40.
This blue striped top is bra-friendly, and the material feels like a linen blend which will keep you comfy in the heat. The pull-on navy blue shorts also feel like linen and have a cute curved hem.
This red and white tank is a favorite! I love the pop of color! It makes a super cool outfit for warm weather along with white shorts.
Finally, I paired the red and white tank with the navy blue shorts to really go all out for the 4th. I really love this look – holiday themed without being over the top. Plus, I would definitely wear this any other summer day too.
You could also pair the solid navy blue top with the navy shorts. And you could certainly wear the blue striped tank with the white denim shorts.
These pieces give you lots of great options for the 4th and beyond. They would make packing for a summer vacation super easy too!
