Red Pea Coat

If you are not needing to wear a winter coat yet, then I want to come visit! Ha! If you are looking for a good winter coat, then this post is for you.

Today, I’m sharing a red pea coat that I picked up last winter when I was looking for something to wear over dressier outfits. The great thing about this coat is that it will also go just as well with jeans too. Plus if red is not your color, this coat comes in a ton of color options!

I love this Anne Klein pea coat! In fact, I love it so much that it’s tempting to get it in another color. I think the camel color would go with everything and the merlot color is just gorgeous!

I sized up to a large in this coat. If you are heavier up top like I am, you will probably want to size up too. Plus, I also like having room for wearing bulky sweaters underneath.

The sleeves on this coat are a tad long for me, but I don’t mind that in a coat. It keeps my hands warmer whether I’m wearing gloves or not.

This will probably be my last post until after New Year’s. I hope you all understand! I’m sure like me that you’ll want to be focusing on your loved ones and reflecting on Who we are celebrating next week! Plus, it’s good to take a break from being online sometimes!

Our holiday will be pretty busy this year! I am thrilled that my oldest son, dad, and sister will be here much of next week. My youngest son has 3 day long wrestling meets over the holiday plus practices too. He is a senior in high school, so I plan to enjoy watching him play his sport for one more year!

I thought about putting up a couple of posts over the holiday featuring my most popular blog posts of 2019. Surprisingly, many of my most popular posts were during the spring and summer which wouldn’t be very relevant for this time of year! One of my most popular posts this month was Red Tunic and Leggings. Y’all really liked the red, so I may be looking for more outfits in that color going forward. Plus, I’m so glad I picked up this great coat in today’s post in the red color! Whenever I think of red, I remember how much my grandmother loved that color.
